Principal Clinical Research Coordinator - Duarte, Medical Center

We have an exciting opportunity to join our Clinical Trials Office team. As a Principal Clinical Research Coordinator (PCRC) you will be responsible for serving as a lead within you respective disease team mentoring new staff, providing task level guidance to CRCs and ACRCs, and serving as subject matter experts in key CTO processes. PCRCs are responsible for maintaining data integrity of multiple assigned research studies.

As a successful candidate, you will:

  • Ensure protocol procedures are followed as specified
  • Report adverse events according to protocol and regulations
  • Abstract and enter data accurately and timely
  • Ensure data integrity and compliance with GCP
  • Liaise with sponsors and attend meetings
  • Participate in monitoring visits and audits
  • Mentor colleagues and assist in training
  • Lead coordination of meetings and study communications
  • Participate in meetings and professional development
  • Serve as a resource for assigned protocols

Your qualifications should include:

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • Five years of experience related to the management and conduct of clinical trials in an academic setting.
  • Working knowledge of clinical trials, Federal, State, and Local Regulations, IRB requirements, consent form and protocol development.
  • Current certification in Clinical Research, SOCRA or ACRP Certification, or obtained within three (3) months of hire.

Salary / Pay Rate Information:
Pay Rate: $41.92 - $64.97 / hour

The estimated pay scale represents the typical [salary/hourly] range City of Hope reasonably expects to pay for this position, with offers determined based on several factors which may include, but not be limited to, the candidate’s experience, expertise, skills, education, job scope, training, internal equity, geography/market, etc. This pay scale is subject to change from time to time.
