Summary
There is currently a Intern/Aide Research opportunity in the Molecular Virology & Microbiology department at Baylor College of Medicine.
Job Duties
- Intern will culture Piscinibacter sakaiensis (a plastic-eating microbe) and E. coli under a variety of conditions and experiment in methods to produce paper from the microbial biomass.
- Intern will present work at end of summer to lab.
Minimum Qualifications
- Must be enrolled in high school or be a high school graduate (or equivalent secondary education) or enrolled in an institution of higher education.
