Summary

There is currently a Intern/Aide Research opportunity in the Molecular Virology & Microbiology department at Baylor College of Medicine.

Job Duties

Intern will culture Piscinibacter sakaiensis (a plastic-eating microbe) and E. coli under a variety of conditions and experiment in methods to produce paper from the microbial biomass.
Intern will present work at end of summer to lab.

Minimum Qualifications

Must be enrolled in high school or be a high school graduate (or equivalent secondary education) or enrolled in an institution of higher education.
