Exchange Visitor is a mutual understanding between the people of the United States and the people of other countries to allow the opportunity for educational and cultural exchanges at Baylor College of Medicine.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Exchange Visitor Visa (J1).
  • Alien with a residence in a foreign country whose intent is to return to their home country.
  • Selected by exchange visitor program sponsor to participate in the exchange visitor program.
  • Intent is to pursue appropriate activity.
  • Must have sufficient funding and appropriate background for program activity.
  • Must meet minimum objective measurement requirements set by Baylor College of Medicine establishing English proficiency.
