The Anatomy laboratory accompanies BIOL 213, Human Anatomy for Kinesiology. The laboratory will be taught from virtual materials, models, and some non-human dissection speciments. This course is taken by Kinesiology majors in Exercise Science.

This course will be taught in person on the Moraga campus during the 2024 Fall term on Mondays from 4:45 - 7:45 pm.

In addition to teaching, the instructor is expected to hold regular office hours (a minimum of one hour per week) in order to provide students with support outside of the classroom.

To ensure consistency between sections of this multi-section course, instructors will faithfully implement the syllabus, experiments, laboratory activities, assessments, and/or grading standards provided by the Lab Coordinator or Department Chair.

The successful candidate will hold an advanced degree in a relevant area of biology and undergraduate teaching experience in biology. Preference will be given to those who have taught the course or BIOL 215L, BIOL 013 or BIOL 016.

Candidates must reside in California.

The salary range for this position is $6,208 - $8,590 (2.5 units) and is covered by the Collective Bargaining Agreement between the College and SEIU, Local 1021, available here.
