Summary

The candidate will be trained in lab duties associated with bacteriologic techniques, and form a team like atmosphere where collegiality and academic interests are accentuated. Job Purpose

Provides temporary administrative or laboratory support to a department while gaining practical work experience.

Job Duties

Grows bacteria and testing their levels.
Isolates and purifiesphage.
Tests phage and environmental samples for new phage.
Makesbuffers and reagents.
Operatesan evolution machine and growth bioreactors.
Operatesa microbe catching device.
Growslibraries of genes and testing for function.

Minimum Qualifications

Must be enrolled in high school or be a high school graduate (or equivalent secondary education) or enrolled in an institution of higher education.
