The Department of Health Sciences and Nursing at Rider University seeks an adjunct instructor for the Fall 2024 semester beginning September 2024. This position is to teach BIO 221L, Human Anatomy and Physiology Lab. The two lab sections are scheduled 1:10-4:10p Mondays and 6:30-9:30p Monday evenings.
Position Requirements
- Master’s degree in a related field and/or sufficient relevant experience in this area.
- Prospective candidates must have demonstrated experience teaching students from diverse backgrounds and demonstrated expertise in human anatomy and physiology.
- The successful candidate will have demonstrated knowledge about the use of student focused pedagogy in the classroom in order to engage students in the learning process.
- Availability to teach during the class times listed above.
Position Preferred Qualifications/Experience
- Terminal degree (Ph.D, EdD, ScD, DrPH)
- Previous teaching experience leading in-person laboratory courses in human anatomy and physiology.
