The laboratories of Drs. Bin (Amber) Zhang and Guido Marcucci in the Department of Hematological Malignancies and Translational Sciences are looking for highly motivated and creative Postdoctoral Fellow. You will join a well-established group focused on conducting and completing projects leading to publications in high-impact journals. Our labs have been focused on exploring the molecular mechanisms of leukemogenesis and evolution, discovery of novel therapeutic targets, and development of novel therapeutic strategies, including novel antibodies and CART cells, in acute myeloid leukemia (AML), chronic myeloid leukemia (CML), and acute lymphoblastic leukemia (ALL).
As a successful candidate you will:
· Lead projects by designing and performing experimental procedures
· Manage data, analyze, and report findings
· Write scientific papers and grants
· Work with PI and other team members to perform experiments in vitro and in vivo
· In vitro skills:
o Cell culture, RNA/DNA extraction, protein extraction, western blot, immunoprecipitation, Immunofluorescence, RT-qPCR, seahorse assay, lentivirus production and cell transduction, ELISA, CART production, CRISPR/Cas9 technology
· In vivo skills:
o Routes of drug administration: oral gavage, intraperitoneal, retro-orbital, subcutaneous, or tail vein injections
o Tissue collection: blood collection, organ harvesting (spleen, bone marrow, liver, etc.)
Your qualifications should include:
· PhD or M.D.
· Experience with molecular signaling, cancer biology, immunity, and mouse work is preferred

Salary / Pay Rate Information:
Pay Rate: $34.00 - $37.55 / hour
