Summary
The University of Michigan's College of Literature, Science, and the Arts is hiring a motivated and driven Intermediate Project Manager to join a diverse team of professionals dedicated to the successful oversight and success of cross-organizational projects. You will report to the Director of Operational Effectiveness in the Technology Services department. Salary Range - $81,000 - $101,000

ABOUT THE JOB

Required Qualifications*
Bachelor's degree in a related field and/or equivalent combination of education, certification, and experience.
3-5 years of project management experience to include responsibilities requiring confidentiality, timeliness, customer service, organization, prioritization, troubleshooting, and working independently.
Experience in the information technology industry demonstrating technical or business expertise, and resolution of complex technical or business issues.
Proven ability to lead project teams to meet customer expectations.
Demonstrated understanding of and skills in client relationship management, systems analysis, team building, process improvement, and strategic planning.
Demonstrated ability to organize and work effectively in a matrix organization with cross-functional project teams and manage multiple projects.
Demonstrated proficiency with word processing, spreadsheet, and database applications.
Demonstrated attention to detail and proofreading skills.
Demonstrated ability to learn new software quickly and to understand technical information and communicate it to others using clear, concise, and user-friendly language.
Desired Qualifications*
Experience with Waterfall and/or Agile project management
Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
Hardware/software implementation project experience
Cloud/Software as a Service (SaaS) project experience
Experience in Higher Education or Government
