Position Description:

The University Honors Program invites applications for Part-Time Lecturer teaching positions in the following areas:

  • Honors First-Year Seminar—Modes of Inquiry (HON 101)
  • Honors Topical Seminars, i.e., upper-level (300- and 400-level), interdisciplinary seminars
  • Honors courses, such as Windows on the World (HON 202)


Courses will be taught in person and some may involve field trips off-campus, other travel, or dates outside the regular semester.

Minimum Qualifications:

Master’s degree required for undergraduate courses, but an earned doctorate is preferred.

Highest graduate degree must be in the field of study or a closely related field with clear justifications on qualifications. Prior teaching experience is also preferred.
