Job Description

Summary

The Program Management Associate will be responsible for supporting our growth in innovative research, particularly education and training, to reduce global health disparities, expand healthcare access, and innovate healthcare solutions that improve survival especially in low-and middle-income countries (LMICs). We are looking for creative individuals with the ability, initiative and experience to engage in collaborative evidence-based projects and programs driven by a shared mission. 

 

Writing samples will be required upon interviewing.

Job Duties

  • Leads education and training-related initiatives including securing necessary resources for new and established activity, hosts meetings from project brainstorming sessions to executive committee program updates and lecture series, create and delegate/execute deliverables, manage timelines and tasks to meet due dates and overall division goals.
  • Collaborates with faculty, partners and other internal and external stakeholders from multiple disciplines (clinical, scientific, engineering, business) to create evidence-based programming including virtual trainings and survey instruments; administers products and services virtually and in the field; collects and analyzes related data. 
  • Develops and delivers oral and written content for progress and impact reports, social media communications, research symposia programming, conference presentations, grant applications and other marketing & fund development efforts to drive growth of education and training initiatives.
  • Assists with program planning and process improvement efforts related to education and training.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree.
  • Two years of relevant experience.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Two years of experience in global health project/program management with community-based organizations and governments in low resource communities.
  • Research experience in education and training-related data collection, analysis and translation of results. 
  • Effective and professional communications, both orally and in writing, to engage with internal and external collaborators, cross-functional teams and individuals at all levels.
  • Proficiency with computer software and applications, including Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Ability to travel domestically and internationally, and work early mornings, late evenings, and weekends as necessary to accommodate time zones of global partners.
