The Dental College of Georgia at Augusta University, we provide dental education to the next generation of professionals by offering hands-on education through innovative research, patient care, and service. Join other dental providers to improve the oral health of Georgia and beyond. The DCG was founded to provide the people of Georgia with quality dental care by educating students in dentistry. As a patient, you have the option to receive treatment in one of our three different practice models consisting of student clinics, resident care, or in the faculty practice. All dental treatments can be completed by the specialists in our facility. We also serve patients in more than 20 clinics across Georgia.

Job Summary
The purpose of this position is to assist the Director to manage the day to day operations and all activities associated with DCG's Community Outreach programs, currently sponsored by a HRSA workforce grant. The activities include, but are not limited to: the student clerkship schedule for the statewide clinical rotation program and PEDO residents in regional areas of GA, assist with maintaining the clinical rotation schedule, work with adjunct faculty, faculty, clinical administrative staff and students to help arrange rotations, collect and report the required data from the students and clinic sites, help to plan meetings, assist with grant writing, assist with conducting needs assessments, data collection, and program facilitation and evaluation, provide administrative support for all ongoing programs associated with DCG's Community Outreach programs, serve as the ombudsman for situations as they arise and other duties as assigned. Person in this position will also work directly with the Director and Principal Investigator (PI) of the HRSA workforce grant to develop the proposed new HRSA programs.

Responsibilities
The duties include, but are not limited to: Assist Program Director
Work with Director to implement program objectives for statewide clinical rotation program:
year round off-campus schedule at clinical sites around GA and changes as they arise, manage arrangements for student lodging at remote locations and evaluate programs and objectives.Data Collection
Collect and process data from students, residents and clinic site managers.HRSA Programs
Work directly with Director and PI to develop the proposed new HRSA programs.Record Keeping
Complete paperwork for adjunct faculty appointments and Affiliation Agreements for clinical training sites, regularly update records and maintain these records for Student Affairs office.Manage Awards, Invoices, and Supply Orders
Work with Director and PI to manage grant sub-awards, i.e. invoices, maintain records for each grantee.Meeting Plans
Help manage oral health outreach activities for community service events for DCG students.Databases
Work with Director to prepare monthly, quarterly and annual reports, including grant specific reports: Financial Status Report, Performance Report and Final Report.Other Duties
Assist Director with all other duties as directed.Calibration
Assist the Director to plan calibration activities and schedule clerkship site visits for Director and Calibration Coordinator.

Required Qualifications
Educational Requirements
Bachelor's degree from an accredited college of university with minimum of 3 years of experience health related field or in similar position. Experience in the field of health education, health administration, and/or outreach.

Preferred Qualifications
Preferred Experience
Strong sense of responsibility, training in computer graphics, website development, familiarity with public health, community outreach and/or social services in GA. Degree in Public Health or Health Administration or 5 years experience in a health related area. Two or more years experience as a presenter at meetings or conferences. Experience in budgeting, reporting, and analysis. Working knowledge of principles of child/adult learning and program evaluation.

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities
ABILITIES
High level computer processing, facilty with Microsoft Office (i.e Excel, PowerPoint, Word), Outlook and other computer software/database, knowledge of One45 database, strong verbal and written communication skills, excellent interpersonal skills, mathematical, organizational, and presentation skills and willingness to participate as a team member. Professionalism, attention to detail and strong work ethic are required. Proven track record of successful relationship building/nurturing and team building capacity.Ability to work independently; prioritize and manage multiple tasks; complete work and meet deadlines. Ability to work occasional evening/weekend hours and travel as needed. Ability to maintain confidentiality.

Shift/Salary/Benefits
Shift: Days/M-F (work outside of the normal business hours will likely be required of an employee in an exempt level position)
Pay Grade:15

Salary: Minimum $38,913.00/Annually -Midpoint $52,533/Annually Salary to be commensurate with qualifications of the selected candidate within the established range (generally minimum-midpoint) of the position
