Position Description:

This position will serve as a full time instructor who is a board certified or board eligible neurosurgeon (specializing in Functional Neurosurgery) that will serve the neurosurgical clinical needs of the population at large in Louisville, KY.

This position will:

1. Provide clinical care for patients

2. Perform DBS Surgery on patients

3. Perform Epilepsy surgery on patients

4. Perform Surgery on patients with Chronic pain  

MD and Completed Residency in Neurological Surgery, demonstrated interest and expertise in functional neurosurgery with a high impact publication record.

The Successful candidate will have clinical, academic, and research experience, knowledge in various clinical areas, strong communication skills, a desire for inter-disciplinary collaboration, and a commitment to educate residents and treat patients.

As this position is for a physician the only competency needed is to successfully perform surgery on patients.
