WHAT WILL YOU DO:

Under the general direction of the Assistant Director, the Information Systems Specialist, Intermediate will act as field technical support for Sequoia point of sale terminals, Morpho biometric terminals, Food Pro, general credit card terminals, DataCard card production hardware, InstantID card production software and TIBA parking system terminals. Also, as secondary support for Transact and other Auxiliary and Support Services administrative systems.



DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

Act as campus-wide field technician support for assigned systems to include Sequoia, Food Pro, Transact, DataCard and credit card terminals. Visits various devices as needed to troubleshoot and effect repair or replacement.
Works with Assistant Director, Analyst Programmer Intermediate and vendor representatives in coordinating system and equipment support, maintenance, and repair services with external vendors.
Provide technical support for other campus card system components as needed, such as desktop computers, various card readers or scanners.
Liaison with campus customers both internal and external via email or phone to provide updates as needed on projects/repairs.

Qualifications:
Minimum Requirements:

Bachelor's degree and two years of related experience, or a combination of education and related experience.
Preferred Requirements:

Basic network experience.
Experience as liaison with enterprise level vendor technical support.
Some system administrator or application administrator experience.
Windows desktop support experience.
Experience with TIBA, PERCS, AIMS or other parking system.
Experience with Entrust card production software and hardware.
Additional Preferred Requirements:

Experience with Transact, CBORD, Sequoia POS, Food Pro, Morpho biometric readers or other campus card system or POS transaction terminals and KDS system.
Experience with POS hardware configuration, implementation and replacement.
