Department Summary
The Department of Family Medicine/ Osteopathic Manipulative Medicine is a multifaceted, interdisciplinary team of dedicated healthcare providers and researchers who are committed to providing excellence in clinical care, primary care education, and research. Through innovative curricular designs, early clinical experiences, and mentorship, the Department is focused on producing highly competent, caring, and compassionate Family Medicine/OMM physicians, helping reduce the shortage of primary care physicians in our Texas communities.
Position Overview
Provide high-level support by directing, organizing and controlling project activities, assist in the development, implementation and maintenance of projects/programs aimed at achieving program/project goals and objectives. Project Coordinator is expected to interact with staff, faculty, students and residents and outside professionals with essential job functions.

Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree and two (2) years related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Strong problem-solving skills.
Ability to use a variety of complex computer applications.
Ability to communicate effectively with diverse populations verbally and in writing.
Ability to develop and maintain effective working relationships.
Strong presentation skills.
Ability to work independently and as a part of a project team.
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree and two (2) years related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience

Job Duties

Performs tasks such as but not limited to human subject related activities, maintaining research and program files and advising team members on human subjects and other project management issues.

Assist in the development of written materials, research or project reports, poster presentations and other materials requested by the department or extended funding entity.
o
Participates in the recording and analysis of research data or other relevant information and in the production of publications and presentations related to the projects as deemed appropriate.
