Job Summary/Basic Function
The Facilities Management department at Weber State University is seeking applications for a full-time Business Applications Manager. This position includes the supervision of a team of professionals responsible for various systems within FM, such as Building Information Modeling (CAD/BIM), Geographic Information Systems (GIS), Integrated Work Management Systems (CMMS/IWMS), Access Control Systems (ACS) and others. In addition to supervisory responsibilities for these functions, the position will also be responsible for data management, maintaining campus records in digital and hard copy formats, and meeting department and university goals.
Required Qualifications
Required:
A bachelor’s degree in a related field or the equivalent combination of education and experience
2 years of related experience that may include managing and leading technical staff and technical customer service
A valid Utah driver license, or the ability to obtain one.
Preferred Qualifications
Preferred:
Demonstrated strong written/oral communication skills, technical documentation, and status reporting.
Positive interpersonal skills including collaboration and listening.
Ability to understand and adhere to data governance requirements, including separation of duties.
Prior work experience in a related technical field
Self-motivated, self-managed, thorough and accurate in one’s daily job procedures.
Ability and flexibility to coordinate several concurrent projects.
