Frostburg State University, College of Business, Engineering, Computational & Mathematical Sciences, seeks applications for a full-time, tenure-track Instructor/Assistant Professor of International Business with a focus area in Marketing for its Department of Marketing and Finance. The primary teaching area is International/Global Business area with support teaching in Marketing. This position is to begin Spring 2024. Salary is competitive and commensurate with experience and qualifications; University System of Maryland benefits package included.

Description of Ongoing/New Duties
Teach graduate and undergraduate courses in marketing. Courses to be taught may include, but is not limited to: Consumer Behavior, Social Media Marketing, Marketing Communications and Global Marketing. While the College’s primary focus is teaching, maintenance of academic qualifications includes peer-reviewed, discipline appropriate, scholarly research and other productivity in the area of intellectual contribution. Service activities to the College including student advising and committee assignments at various levels of the institution are expected.

Minimum Qualifications
Ph.D. or ABD in Business, International Business or related field with a focus area in Marketing.
If selected candidate is ABD, they will be hired at the rank of Instructor, with the requirement that the candidate finish the doctoral degree within the first year of employment.
Preferred Qualifications
Full-time managerial experience in the international business arena is desired. Prior teaching experience and evidence of scholarly work preferred.
