OPS 747.01: Supply-Chain Management

Spring Quarter 2024, Class meets Saturdays 4/13, 4/27, 5/11, 5/18, 6/8, 6/15, 1:00PM - 5:00PM, and Thursdays 4/18/2024 - 6/13/2024, 7:00 PM - 9:00 PM.

The course provides you with a broad overview of operational issues in manufacturing and service organizations, and equips you with an assortment of quantitative and qualitative techniques for analyzing and optimizing business processes. Your managerial tool kit will be considerably enhanced by learning how to make use of time series analysis, process analysis, queuing theory, models of inventory management, total quality management and the six sigma approach, and global supply chain management.

Qualifications:

Candidates must have a Master's or Ph.D. preferred in a relevant area of Business Analytics or a closely related field.

Candidates should have a successful record of teaching experience at the undergraduate level and experience/familiarity with online/hybrid instruction in order to prepare for contingencies. This position requires all course work to be performed in the state of California. Candidates must perform all course-related work within the state of California.

The salary range for this position is $6,480 -$10,008 dependent on qualifications. The salary range for this position is covered by the Collective Bargaining Agreement between the College and SEIU, Local 1021, available here.
