Job Description
Summary
The primary purpose of this Student Helper position is to provide office administrative and lab/technical support related to age-related macular degeneration. This is a great opportunity for a student seeking a degree in the sciences or has an interest in basic science research
Job Duties
- Provides office administrative support.
- Provides research administrative or technical support.
- Plans, directs, and conducts supervised research experiments.
- Documents results of experiments and report to principal investigator and during lab meetings.
- Oversees the maintenance of lab equipment, ordering, and the general lab environment.
- Learns and becomes proficient with techniques related to animals, in vivo imaging, ocular drug delivery, gene therapy and histopathology.
Minimum Qualifications
- Must be a High School or College Student (undergraduate or graduate).
- No experience required.
