Summary
The Department of Medicine, Section of General Internal Medicine and Geriatrics is seeking a Assistant Coordinator, Business Operations provide administrative support at Harris Health. This role supports the daily business operations, including provider credentialing, maintaining clinic schedules, and day-to-day administrative and faculty support. This position requires excellent organizational skills, flexibility, and the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
This is a hybrid role and located at Ben Taub Hospital.
Job Duties
• Provides administrative support to the Section of General Internal Medicine and Geriatrics at Harris Health.
• Provides administrative support to faculty including processing reimbursements, travel requests, and ordering of supplies.
• Assists with credentialing including BaylorMedCare and Hospital Pavilion credentialing.
• Maintains schedules in QGenda.
• Organizes meetings, prepares agendas, and takes meeting minutes and action items.
• Processes supplemental payments for faculty for moonlighting and other additional assignments.
• Coordinates electives for Residents/Students participating in Section education electives.
Minimum Qualifications
- High School diploma or GED.
Preferred Qualifications
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
