Job Summary
Job Posting Refresh This position is responsible for the development, coordination and implementation of student retention and recruitment activities for undergraduate and graduate programs in the College of Nursing.

Responsibilities
The responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Assessing and providing strategies, activities, and service referrals for student retention. Includes tutoring strategies and developing a referral program for students requiring assistance. Collecting, reviewing, and analyzing data on the impact of interventions on student outcomes, along with Program Directors and making recommendations for process and quality improvements. Developing public relations and partnerships within the Enterprise, community agencies, healthcare & educational institutions; including establishing and maintaining relationships, establishing and participating in organizations, and serving on committees and task forces related to recruitment and retention issues/challenges. Coordinating all aspects of student recruitment events including planning, implementation and coordinating recruitment events such as open houses, information sessions, closer look tours, white coat ceremony and family day. Responsible for developing, tracking and evaluating College of Nursing recruitment strategies in collaboration with the Program Directs and Program Managers. Manages budget items and generates reports and data associated with activities. Coordinate all pre-nursing activities to include the Pre-Nursing Society, education sessions, etc. Perform all other related duties as assigned, including special projects.

Required Qualifications
A Master's degree in education, student services, advising, counseling, psychology, sociology or related field from an accredited college or university AND a minimum of two years of experience including student recruitment and/or retention.

Preferred Qualifications
Experience working with student groups and developing student leadership, professional, and peer-to-peer mentoring programs and support networks. Excellent project management skills. Flexibility to maintain schedule that will involve travel including occasional weekend and evening work assignments.

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities
Excellent interpersonal skills, verbal, and written communication skills. Ability to work simultaneously on multiple projects and adhere to deadlines. Self-starter, strong level of inter-dependence, innovative. Experience in fast-paced environments, requiring team-work, flexibility, and change management across multiple channels. Proficient in Microsoft Office and other computer software/databases. Ability to maintain confidentiality.

Shift/Salary/Benefits
Shift: Days Mon-Fri.
Pay Grade: 14
Salary Minimum : $36,197- $48,866 Annually.
Salary to be commensurate with qualifications of the selected candidate within the established range (generally minimum-midpoint) of the position
