Job Summary:
The Anderson College of Business and Computing invites applications for two tenure-track positions at the Assistant Professor level, beginning August 1, 2024. Anderson College seeks faculty members who can design, develop, and teach courses for the Master of Science in Information Systems program within the Data and Information Sciences Department.

The department is seeking a versatile teacher-scholar who will contribute to the college’s mission to help prepare students for exceptional success, distinction, and compassion via critical thinking and values-based experiential learning – all to enhance the world's economic, environmental, and social well-being.

The ideal candidate holds a strong teaching record and preferably industry experience. Demonstrated ability of classroom, online, or hybrid curriculum development and teaching. Integrative and experiential learning pedagogies are particularly prized. Major Duties and Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and teach at the undergraduate and graduate levels for classroom, online, or hybrid courses.

Maintain currency in the information systems field through scholarship such as peer-reviewed publications, presenting at conferences, and other scholarly activities. A record of sustained scholarship in the discipline is required for tenure.

Conduct service to the college and university, which includes attending department meetings, serving on college or university committees, and supporting students.

Conduct service to the community, profession and/or discipline. This service may include serving on editorial boards, participating in industry groups, serve as an accreditation peer reviewer, and/or being a journal reviewer.

Education Requirement

A doctoral degree or ABD status from a regionally credited institution of higher learning in information systems, management information systems, computer information systems, or a closely aligned field of study is required.


Preferred Qualifications

Industry experience in one or more of the following (not an exclusive list): business continuity and information assurance, enterprise architecture, systems development and deployment, and IT infrastructure.
