Registered Nurse - Occupational Health

Responsible for the coordination and implementation of the Employee Health Program and ensures employee & facility compliance and adherence to local, state and federal regulations.

The successful candidate:

  • Must be able to work PRN/As Needed between the hours of Monday-Friday, 7:30a-5:00p.

  • Coordinates and implements the employee health program to provide a safe and healthy environment for employees and ensures facility compliance with rules and regulations. Provides clinical services to employees in this capacity

  • Prepares reports, attends committee meetings, provides guidance and acts as a facility resource on all aspects of employee health and wellness.

  • Participates in educational development involving employee health and serves as a teacher/trainer in all related areas.

  • Serves as a liaison between the facility and the Workers Compensation and Employee Health Providers, the workers compensation carrier and pertinent administrative staff, relative to their functions.

  • Performs additional tasks relative to the job functions and/or as instructed by supervisory, regulatory or administrative personnel as necessary

Qualifications

Your qualifications should include:

  • Current Georgia RN license requied

  • BSN required or enrolled within 6 months of hire and BSN completed within three years from hire date

  • 3-5 years experience in employee health preferred

  • BLS (Obtain AHA certification within 30 days of hire)

Salary / Pay Rate Information:
Pay Rate: $31.90 - $52.55 / hour

The estimated pay scale represents the typical [salary/hourly] range City of Hope reasonably expects to pay for this position, with offers determined based on several factors which may include, but not be limited to, the candidate’s experience, expertise, skills, education, job scope, training, internal equity, geography/market, etc. This pay scale is subject to change from time to time.
