The Materials Specialist is responsible for overseeing all GMP materials (raw materials, starting materials, intermediates, and final product), and providing service and support to operational departments in order to care for the patients we serve.

A typical schedule is 7:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. or 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. Monday through Friday

As a successful candidate, you will:

  • Analyze item usage and cost to determine and adjust stock levels, reduce inventory cost, execute action on material phase-in and phase-out
  • Work with Purchasing to obtain technical information, specifications, recommended vendors, understand backorder risks, determine substitute material availability, communicate risks or concerns to supply, manage open orders and requests
  • Consult with Purchasing, Sourcing, Manufacturing/Quality Control and Vendors, as required, to obtain information required for supplies procurement and management from recommended vendors
  • Coordinate with purchasing, supply chain, receiving personnel, vendors and accounts payable personnel to resolve problems encountered with purchase orders
  • Execute cycle counts daily, expiration date management, cleaning and maintenance of inventory and bins, correct labeling and barcoding of inventory
  • Perform inventory counts, pull inventory based on pick sheets generated from inventory counts, stage inventory on transfer carts, and deliver and stock supplies

Your qualifications should include:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent (Bachelor’s degree in Operations, Supply Chain, or other technical field preferred)
  • 2 years of experience in Supply Chain/Materials department

Salary range: $64,480 - $74,276
