Rider University invites applications for an Assistant Registrar.  The Assistant Registrar maintains academic records, issues transcripts and grades, processes grades; oversees computerized files; manages workload preparation and master course scheduling; runs beginning-of-term and end-of-term processes and reports; processes mid-term and final grades; schedules classroom assignments; prepares various academic reports; assists with Banner student system set-up and testing; processes university withdrawals and readmits; provides support for CourseLeaf Catalog and Curriculum system; processes Student Clearinghouse enrollment and graduation files; processes diploma and commencement lists; generates commencement reading cards; assists with maintaining NJ Transfer equivalencies; assists with ongoing maintenance of Degree Works degree audit system.

Position Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree 
  • Experience in higher education
  • One-year supervisory experience 
  • Ability to work with computers and other equipment and to communicate effectively orally and in writing. 
  • Satisfactory background and/or DMV checks required 

Position Preferred Qualifications/Experience

  • Experience with Banner student system highly desirable
