Minimum Requirements:

Associate's degree and four or more years of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education, training and work experience. Grade 4 (Min: $20.92-Mid $26.15- Max $31.38).

Position Description:

This position is in the A&S Office of the Dean, A&S Office for Diversity, Engagement, Culture & Climate (DECC). The selected candidate will develop, implement and manage campus and community engagement program activities for the office. This is a part-time permanent position. 

The job responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Design, direct, and coordinate campus and community engagement or outreach programming for the University of Louisville DECC office.
  • Design, direct, and coordinate the long-term collaboration with the Yearlings Club Forum Series, a UofL Signature Partnership Initiative. activities of the Yearlings Club Forum Series.
  • Design, direct and coordinate new collaborations, including the UofL Signature Partnership Initiatives in collaboration with the Office of Community Engagement, if deemed appropriate.
  • Manage and coordinate annual educational programming activities associated with the Civil Rights Markers Project.
  • Manage, direct, and supervise outside vendors, volunteers, and staff at community outreach programs.
  • Promote department programs through media contacts and promotions in collaboration with the A&S Communications Office.
  • Write grant program proposals (corporate and government) to support projects, as necessary.
  • Provide grant administration for grants received.
  • Perform related duties as assigned.

Compensation will be commensurate to candidate experience.
