Associate's degree and three or more years of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education, training and work experience. Grade 4 Wage Range Min $20.92 Mid $26.15 Max $31.38

Position Description:

Under the guidance of the Anesthesiology Fellowship Program Director, Assistant Fellowship Program Director, and Department Chair, this position will coordinate and facilitate all aspects of the Department of Anesthesiology Fellowship Programs, Medical Student Education, and assist the Program Coordinator with the Residency Program. 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Maintain, validate, and ensure that all applicable documentation associated with the Fellowship Programs are current and correct. 

  • Responsible for monitoring fellow compliance in completion of medical records, case logs, and moonlighting hours.

  • Will assist in preparing documentation for accreditation and site reviews. 

  • Facilitate Departmental and Anesthesiology Fellowship Programs in compliance with the School of Medicine House Staff Office requirements. 

  • Coordinate Fellowship recruitment process and work with faculty to proactively improve the instructional programs and recruitment processes.  Knowledge of ACGME, ABA, and other University policies and procedures is desirable. 

  • Coordinate all  U of L students and external students with their rotations and classes in Anesthesiology. 

  • Coordinate communication and grading or student efforts with the Medical Student Affairs Office. 

  • Work independently and have the ability to establish an effective relationship with faculty, fellows, residents, students, and staff. 

Compensation will be commensurate to candidate experience.
