Minimum Requirements:

Associate's degree in Hygiene or related field, license as a Dental Hygienist. Grade 7

Position Description:

The Dental Hygienist will perform dental hygiene functions for new and periodic recall patients at the University of Louisville School of Dentistry Owensboro, KY dental practice, 2811 New Hartford Rd Suite A Owensboro, KY.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Perform oral hygiene instructions and prophylaxis.
Work with dental providers to complete scaling, root planning and polishing along with periodontal maintenance.
Assist providers in taking digital radiographic images.
Organize and follow through with maintaining a viable recall system for the practice.
Maintain and assist staff in the sterilization of hygiene instruments.

Compensation will be commensurate to candidate experience.
