Responsibilities
The Arthritis and Clinical Immunology Research Program (ACI) at the Oklahoma Medical Research Foundation (OMRF) seeks to understand roles of the immune system in health and disease. Building on strong clinical research infrastructure with longitudinal cohorts, a cadre of talented clinical coordinators/clinical research nurses, diverse aspects of clinical research informatics and a CAP-certified biorepository, we invite qualified candidates to apply for a clinical trialist faculty position focusing on rheumatoid arthritis (RA), Sjogren’s syndrome and/or related disorders. We are currently recruiting at the Assistant/Associate/Full Professor level. Talented candidates at all levels are encouraged to apply and will be considered.
Arthritis and Clinical Immunology investigators have access to a number of outstanding core facilities, including CAP-CLIA certified Clinical Immunology Laboratory (autoantibody testing), Sample Procurement and Processing, CAP-certified Biorepository, Human Phenotyping, Imaging, Flow Cytometry, Translational Informatics, and state-of-the-art clinical facilities. Extensive autoimmune disease and control sample collections are also available. Pilot programs provide additional funding options through the Oklahoma Rheumatic Disease Research Cores Center and Oklahoma Shared Clinical & Translational Resources funding streams, as well as through the Oklahoma Center for Advancement of Science and Technology.
Qualifications
Successful candidates must have terminal medical degree (MD, DO, MD-PhD, DO-PhD), be board-certified or board-eligible in Internal Medicine/Rheumatology, licensed to practice in the US (and ideally Oklahoma), have received additional training in caring for patients with Rheumatoid Arthritis (RA), Systemic Lupus Erythematosus (SLE), UCTD and/or Sjögren’s, be in good standing, and demonstrate strong history of successfully recruiting and completing clinical trials. Must possess high level of initiative, strong attention to detail, and be team oriented.

- Spearhead investigator-initiated, sponsor-led and/or NIH clinical trials
- Lead comprehensive, optimal, compassionate autoimmune rheumatic disease patient clinical care
