Under limited direction, provides advanced administrative support to assigned staff or faculty members contributing to the operating efficiency of the work area. Operates independently in prioritizing workload and in determining how best to accomplish work objectives. Participates in projects and assignments, as required.

High School diploma and an equivalent of 2-4 years of related work experience. Demonstrated effective communication and customer service skills required. Working knowledge of standard office equipment is required. Demonstrated computer proficiency is required with an emphasis on word processing, spreadsheet, and data management skills. Effective problem-solving skills and the ability to operate independently, prioritize and organize own work schedule, multi-task, and meet established deadlines. Demonstrated excellent recordkeeping, and organization skills required. The completion of a satisfactory background check is required. Demonstrated experience and/or ability to multitask and prioritize.

Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office and desktop publishing software. Ability to multi-task, general appreciation of music.
