Job Description

Summary

The School of Health Professions is seeking a Coordinator, Business Operations who will be responsible for assisting the Senior Coordinator, Program Management, the Program Director, and the Associate Program Directors while leading specific administrative efforts related to course evaluation, clinical residency, and lab management within the Orthotics and Prosthetics Program.

 

The Coordinator is responsible for interfacing with patient models and ensuring their contracts and payments are up-to-date, managing onboarding and clinical affiliate paperwork, updating expense reports and budget planning for lab ordering and materials, assisting the Associate Program Directors with patient models, room reservations, and clinical placement administrative needs; and will assist he Program Director with creating reports related to budget and course evaluations. Additionally, the Coordinator is the primary party responsible for program event management, including catering and expenses.

Job Duties

• Creates New Contracts/Vendor and contract renewals for patient models.
• Coordinates new clinical affiliation agreements and renewals with legal and leadership.
• Maintains clinical residency database with current preceptor and clinic contact information.
• Documents resident completion of assignments and preceptor assessment of residents in Blackboard.
• Sends out, collect data, and generate reports for faculty and course evaluations.
• Assists students with onboarding requirements, drug screens, background checks, documentation.
• Supports the associate director for clinical education with administration duties.
• Processes all reimbursements for students onboarding requirements.
• Keeps the Registrar updated with clinical resident placements and locations.
• Processes TDLR applications and NCOPE documentation prior to cohort residency.
• Coordinates and supports on campus event management (White Coat, Senior Days, Program tours).
• Works with business manager and program director on budgeting (mostly lab supplies).
• Maintains expense POs and expense reports for lab and program expenses.
• Assists lab coordinator with ordering and maintaining supplies, preparing student tool kits, and ensuring materials and equipment are maintained.
 

Minimum Qualifications

  • High School diploma or GED.
  • Two years of relevant experience.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Associates Degree or Bachelor's degree.
  • Experience with Learning Management Systems (Blackboard).
