Position Description

The Department of Information Systems, Analytics and Supply Chain Management at Rider University seeks an adjunct instructor for the Fall 2023 beginning September 6th, 2023. This position is to teach the following class:

-CIS 385 (Management Information Systems) meets every
MW 1:10PM-2:40 PM with a starting day of September 6th, 2023

CIS 385 Course Description:

This course will enhance students’ digital dexterity and familiarity with existing and emerging information technologies, emphasizing skills of abstraction in relation to digital strategy and organizational change, innovation, analytics, and ethics. This course will also provide hands-on experience with at least one essential business technology. At the completion of the course, students will have an understanding of the business-related, policy, societal, and ethical implications associated with modern information systems.

Position Requirements

The successful candidate should possess a Master’s or advanced degree, and/or equivalent degree/credentials in Information Systems, Computer Information Systems, Business Analytics, or related field. Demonstrated prior teaching experience of Information Systems, Computer Information Systems, or Business Analytics, and related courses at either the undergraduate or graduate level is required.

Position Preferred Qualifications/Experience

Strong industry experiences in relevant fields and/ or a PhD are a plus.
