Summary

The School of Dentistry (SoD) Dental Informatics IT department is looking for you to join our team. We have an exciting opportunity for a Systems Administrator Intermediate. In this role, you will support technologies used to fabricate dental appliances, the capture of diagnostic/treatment imaging as well as Clinical and Office Desktop Client/Server Maintenance and Support. Our organization supports faculty, staff, and students to further SoD’s mission of “Advancing health through education, service, research, and discovery.” Our unique profession allows us to engage with our customers on several levels through teaching, learning, research, healthcare, and administration. We operate within numerous health clinics, classrooms, and research labs, allowing us to support a diverse IT ecosystem. What You'll Do

You will provide technical consultation, analysis, support, and problem resolution for complex and unique lab and clinical environments.
You will work with school/university peers, faculty members, and vendors to find and develop technical solutions.
You will collaborate with technical teams and vendors to enhance functionality, security, and implement integrations to existing and new technologies.
You will liaison with external labs as needed to ensure seamless delivery of services. ? You will provide end-to-end administration and production support for operational activities.
You will work within a team on the deployment, maintenance, patching, backup, and restore configurations of servers, client workstations, and kiosks.
You will communicate regularly and openly with participants of disparate interests in an engaging transparent manner using common and supported methods.
You will produce and maintain detailed technical documentation, track changes and ticket updates, and comprehensive technical implementation and upgrade project plans.
You will report directly to the Infrastructure Operations Manager
