The role is available to current employees within IT Services at the University of Leeds only.
Salary: Grade 9(£54,421 - £63,059 p.a. depending on experience)
This role will be based on the university campus, with scope for it to be undertaken in a hybrid manner. We are also open to discussing flexible working arrangements.
Are you a skilled and experienced IT Leader? Are you committed to delivering an effective and efficient service in a large and complex organisation? Do you have experience of delivering both customer service excellence and continuous service improvement in a changing landscape?
As the Head of Business Analysis & Architecture, you will own and lead the Business Analysis and Architecture practice within the broader Strategy and Architecture function. You will help build and maintain the Business Analysis & Architecture capability. You will provide leadership to the existing ~15 full and part-time Business Analysts including contractors. You will embed good practice and develop and maintain the capabilities of the team, including documentation and maintenance of business analysis and architecture standards and methods. You will be responsible for the recruitment and retention of BA resources, and represent the IT Business Analysis & Architecture practice in engagements within the IT department and the wider University (e.g. Transformation Office). You will also contribute as a practicing Business Analyst and Architect both directly (typically during early phases of large programmes/projects) and by providing oversight, advice and guidance to BAs in your group.
