About the Department
The Ross Finance team is dedicated to providing experienced financial support to units within Ross and providing strategic guidance and financial support school-wide. This team excels in partnering, technical financial understanding, initiative, and a commitment to customer service.

Summary

You Will:

Financial Partner to a Portfolio of Ross Units (Academic and Administrative Units):

Partner with units to develop annual budget, provide guidance on best practices and refer to policy throughout the budget preparation and submittal process
Provide regular and ad hoc financial analysis and reports to make recommendations, help answer questions or provide decision support
Analyze financial activities and related processes and make recommendations for improvement
Support units in the review and certification of their internal controls
Consult with units to establish a meaningful account structure
Meet with units to determine appropriate purchasing method, which may also include facilitating a bid process with central Procurement
Align financial practices according to the University policy and practices
Manage special projects

You Have:

BBA in accounting, finance, or business administration or equivalent work experience
Seven years of progressively responsible experience in financial analysis, budgeting, and internal financial controls
Work collaboratively and develop strong partnerships with staff at all levels and with varying levels of financial and budgetary knowledge
Skills in project management
Work with financial systems and reporting tools

Salary Information: The general salary range for this position is $77,000 - $85,000. You can expect to be paid a competitive and equitable salary. Factors used to determine salary include experience, knowledge and skills for the position. You are encouraged to discuss salary questions to honor understanding and transparency throughout the recruiting process.
