Title- Endpoint Lifecycle Specialist (level II)

Assist and contribute to the system wide Endpoint Management initiative by performing endpoint repair on Dell and Apple laptops and desktops, perform imaging on all standardized endpoints, assist in general warehouse duties that would include receiving and organizing for efficiency, delivery of endpoints, assist in monitoring tickets, and contribute to continual process improvement.

Duties-

  • Coordinate and perform break/fix of Dell and/or Apple computers
  • Perform imaging on standardized computers and quality assurance
  • Work within the Asset Management system to assign devices appropriately
  • Maintain warehouse organization and cleanliness
  • Perform delivery and pickup if needed
 

Job Requirements

Required Education:  Bachelor's degree, AND: 
Equivalency Substitution: Will accept 48 months related experience in lieu of the bachelor's degree for a total of 84 months related experience.

  • 36 months experience as IT Help Desk, Client Support, or related field.

Skills:

  • Knowledge of different applications and systems.
  • Ability to diagnosis and solve IT problems.   
  • Knowledge of remote desktop applications.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to communicate verbally and in writing.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.

Certifications:

  • None

Advertised Physical Requirements:

  • Sits and stands for prolonged periods of time.  Use of computer. Manual dexterity. Communicate effectively and listens.  Ability to lift 50 lbs.
  • Standard Office Environment. 

Departmental Preferences:

  • Fundamental knowledge of IT operations, experience and certification with Apple GSX and/or Dell TechDirect.
  • A process-oriented mindset, an aptitude for organization and a desire to contribute to the overall success of the program and team.
