Job Summary:
The Manager of Case Management has overall responsibility for operational management of the Case Management Department including staffing, budgets and plans. Responsibilities include compliance with relevant policies including Case Management and Discharge Policies; implementing and revising the UM Plan and promoting cooperation with utilization review standards by the medical staff; maintaining/facilitating communication between the case management department and the physician advisor and healthcare staff regularly regarding UR and/or quality issues; analysis of reports on length of stay, avoidable days, disputes, InterQual and other associated metrics. This role also includes the management and development of the Care Coordination role.
Qualification and Experience required.
Bachelor's Degree in Nursing ( BSN) is required and Masters is preferred.
State of Florida Registered Nurse ( RN) is required or eligible for RN license before start date is required.
Case Management Certification in ACM, CCM or oncology Nursing Certification is highly preferred.
Must have minimum of five (5) years of clinical experience in case management and utilization review .oncology nursing staffing and scheduling management, staff development and personnel management and budget management is preferred.
