Summary

The Senior Coordinator, Curriculum will provide administrative and program support to the School of Medicine Curriculum Office. The position will assist with various educational activities by serving in this key front-line role by providing administrative support for Undergraduate Medical Education Course Directors. This role also administratively supports operations to satisfy accreditation standards.

 

 

Job Duties

  • Provides administrative support for Undergraduate Medical Education (UME) course directors/program coordinators.
  • Oversees various system applications utilized in medical education, including Blackboard, MedHub, E*Value, and SuccessFactors.
  • Interacts with course/program directors to facilitate course/program objectives.
  • Performs critical tasks related to the annual review process in collaboration with course/program directors.
  • Ensures program, student, and department needs are met; resources are identified; and recommendations are implemented for improvements and enhancements.
  • Creates, implements, and maintains various system applications for all assigned courses/programs.
  • Serves as the administrator for one or more medical school subcommittees.
  • Coordinates the administrative functions of the department's medical education courses.
  • Coordinates annual appointments, credentialing, and the onboarding/off boarding processes for existing and new faculty.

Minimum Qualifications

  • High School diploma or GED.
  • Four years of relevant experience.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree
  • Experience in Blackboard, ExamSoft, E*Value
