Job DescriptionJob Duties
Provides administrative support for the day-to-day operations of the Department of Clinical Health Sciences: prepares purchase requisitions; coordinates and monitors maintenance services; serves as liaison between departments, faculty and staff.
Assists in the preparations of departmental budget; monitors all budget and grant expenditures; maintains bookkeeping system; prepares financial and administrative reports; prepares payments and orders; and assists with onboarding guest lecturers.
Answers and returns telephone calls and e-mails regarding questions and concerns of department/programs; communicates and interprets policies and procedures; may develop procedures for assigned area(s); responds to questions resolves issues of moderate complexity.
Handles confidential issues or sensitive records on a somewhat regular basis using discretion and judgment.
May provide work leadership for other office staff; trains and follow-up on the work of others.
Coordinates and performs clerical/secretarial services: makes arrangements for events and meetings; assists with payroll; composes and types correspondence; makes travel arrangements; screens telephone calls.
Performs other duties as assigned.

High school education or equivalent; supplemented with three to five (3-5) years of related experience. Associate’s degree preferred.

Those who received the J&J vaccine at least two months ago.
