Job Description:
Title: Assistant to Coordinator of Applied Music & Ensembles
Department: Visual/Performing Arts
Supervisor: Kyle Martin
Schedule: TBD

General Statement of Duties:

Provide general support for the Coordinator of Applied Music


Responsibilities:

In person responsibilities include monitoring instruments and instrument related equipment, maintaining inventories of VPA instruments and equipment, moving items on campus when necessary, periodically checking the security of music practice rooms and pianos in classrooms.


Various tasks related to publicizing and producing performances presented by the Visual & Performing Arts Department, assisting with concerts presented on campus, including the fall and spring Mosaic of Music at the end of the semester, and others which may occur.


Requirements:
Requirements:

Experience as a musician and as a member of musical ensembles preferred
Basic proficiency in musical notation and music notation software desirable

Meet weekly with or as needed with the Coordinator of Applied Music
