The Division of Gastroenterology and Hepatology at the University of Missouri in Columbia has an immediate opening for a post-doctoral fellow in liver research. We are seeking a highly motivated candidate with Ph.D. degree. The candidate must have worked on mouse/rat models. The candidates must establish their experience by published manuscripts in research using rodent models and molecular techniques including overexpression studies, histopathology, western blotting, immunohistochemistry/immunofluorescence techniques, and tissue culture using liver cells. Knowledge in mutational analysis and human genome databases is desirable. The ideal candidate would possess peer-reviewed publications in liver research, the ability to write manuscripts and a strong interest to help build a robust research program while learning new techniques and skill.
