The ROW Coordinator oversees the River of Words program at the direction of the Director of External Relations. Functions inclue oversight of administration, consulting, commmunication, publications and art collections, and contests.

Annual Contest and Art Collection: Promote River of Words annual contest. Coordinate entries, judging, and notification. Coordinate events and media related to contest.

External Relations: Communicate regularly with ROW's stakeholders. Respond to emails to kick off 2021 contest

Experience and Qualifications
REQUIRED: Bachelor's degree

PREFERRED: Terminal graduate degree in one of the subject areas: education, art, or creative writing

Experience: 1-2 years experience working in the field of education, arts administration. Experience with budgets, databases, editing literary work, curating art, fundraising and media relations.

Skills/Abilities: (e.g. computer skills, written & verbal skills, trades, laws, procedures, technical) strong communication skills, ability to collaborate with peers and stakeholders from multiple College areas. Facility with MS Office applications, including excel.

Licenses & Certifications (e.g. CPA, RN, etc.):
REQUIRED: Driver's License
