About This Role:

The Cashiers and Student Services office is seeking applicants for an Cashiers Supervisor, Unclassified position within the Division of Financial Services. This role oversees the Cashiering section for the University which includes:

Receipt of payments for tuition, campus fees, and various department charges to student accounts in the K-State Student Information Systems (KSIS).
Balance cash drawers daily and review the accuracy of payments posted.
Receipt of department deposit and reconciliation to CASHNet.
Address questions from students and the department regarding balances due, payment options, non-payment consequences, credit hours billed, financial aid received, address maintenance, and billing schedules.
Administer the Inactive Student Repayment Plan and send accounts to the collection agency.
Directly supervise the Cashiering section within the office which includes supervising the part-time support of full-time University Support Staff (USS) employees and part-time student employees.

What You’ll Need to Succeed:

Minimum Requirements:

High School Diploma and one year of relevant experience
Preferred Qualifications:

Two years of experience handling cash and balance cash receipts
Post high school bookkeeping or accounting classes
Experience using Microsoft Office Products
Supervisory experience
Demonstrated verbal and written communication skills
Demonstrated math aptitude
Ability to work within deadlines
Demonstrated effective organizational skills
Other Requirements:

Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States at the time of employment
