Position Purpose
Full-time (20 hours) LA. The primary responsibilities for this position are to teach
laboratory sections of the PSY 2110 and PSY 2120 courses. Duties include but are not
limited to the following: teach students how to use SPSS statistical program; IRB
(Human Subjects) and DRB (Department Human Subjects) forms and procedures;
library literature search procedures; APA writing style; research project preparation and
completion; grade student laboratory and course work; enter grades on Blackboard.
-The graduate student will develop research and statistical skills in psychology
-The graduate assistant will gain teaching experience
-RDA I & II labs requires intensive one-on-one teaching and interaction with students,
which the graduate assistant will help to provide
-The graduate student will provide enhanced and increased interaction in the lab environment.

Must have an undergraduate Research Methods or equivalent course.
