Job Purpose

Building on over a century of leadership in biomedical research, Baylor College of Medicine focuses the efforts of faculty, staff and trainees on improving health through science, scholarship and innovation. Job Duties

 

  • Handles the day-to-day operations of the Office of the Vice President of Research.
  • Oversees calendar for Vice President of Research.
  • Responsible for organizing and coordinating special events, including catering.
  • Provides routine administrative assistance to the executive, such as: scheduling and tracking documents for signature.
  • Manages scheduling for conference rooms.
  • Prepares expense reports for travel reimbursements and Fast Card expenditures.
  • Processes invoices and requisitions for payment in SAP.
Minimum Qualifications

Required: 

  • High School diploma or GED
  • Six years of relevant experience
Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor's degree
