Summary

The Pediatric - Hematology/Oncology Education Division/Texas Children's Cancer and Hematology Center is currently seeking a Program Management Coordinator to provide administrative support for the fellowship program director who oversees the largest Pedi-Hem/Onc Fellowship program in the nation as well as several other accredited fellowship programs within the Center.

Job Purpose

Provides administrative support for an education program, including undergraduate, graduate, residency, fellowship, clerkship, continuing medical education, or other College-affiliated education programs. 

Job Duties

 

  • Assists with the trainee recruitment and interview process, including scheduling interviews and making travel arrangements for candidates.
  • Assists with onboarding new trainees.
  • Schedules or coordinates lectures, evaluations, meetings, rounds, exams, seminars, training rotations, electives or special electives, duty/call schedules, ceremonies, or events.
  • Establishes and maintains trainee records.
  • Creates, monitors, and tracks documentation of training and educational activities; may assist with grade or evaluation submission.
  • May assist with trainee accreditation.
  • Provides administrative support for the program director or other faculty, including maintaining calendars, scheduling meetings, ordering supplies, preparing correspondence, answering phones, or greeting visitors.

 

Minimum Qualifications
  • High School diploma or GED.
  • Two years of relevant experience.
