Job Description

Job Purpose

Performs general administrative duties, including scheduling meetings, maintaining calendars, preparing documents and making travel arrangements for faculty members.

Job Duties
  • Type's letters, memos, reports and other material from notes and rough drafts.
  • Composes routine correspondence.
  • Coordinates administrative functions to support the unit's recruitment, interviewing and hiring efforts.
  • Schedules and arranges faculty meetings including the preparation of meeting notices and agendas.
  • Maintains and renews faculty credentialing and licensing.
  • Makes travel arrangements and processes travel reimbursements through Concur.
  • Provides administrative support for conferences or events that the faculty members are involved in.
  • Monitors records and prepares reports.
  • Greets visitors and directs them to appropriate staff.
  • Receives, sorts and distributes mail.
  • Schedule add on patient appointments.
  • Onboards clinical observers and medical students. Creates their schedules and setting them up with computer, badge and Epic training access.
  • Composes clearance letters for the patients under the guidance of the faculty.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Required: High School diploma or GED.
  • Required: Two years of relevant experience.
