Job Purpose

Provides administrative support for academic support programs, functions, and activities related to Graduate Medical Education (GME).

Job Duties
  • Maintains confidential files for residents and clinical fellows.
  • Provides training and support to GME program coordinators; provides one-on-one tutorials and education, including the creation of training materials related to the responsibilities of the position.
  • Updates and maintains the GME website.
  • Oversees the onboarding and credentialing process for new GME trainees.
  • Serves as a resource for education-related work hour rules.
  • Prepares the monthly work hour report and compliance reports utilizing MedHub.
  • Coordinates and participates in resident and clinical fellow orientations.
  • Attends and takes minutes for the monthly Graduate Medical Education Committee (GMEC) meeting.
  • Interfaces with external entities, including affiliates, regarding the GME program.
  • Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Education Required: High School diploma or GED.
  • Experience Required: Six years of relevant experience.
  • Certification/Licenses/Registration: None Required.
