Job Description

Job Purpose

Oversees all Title IX complaints and reports/allegations of sex and/or gender based discrimination; conducts or supervises investigations into reports/allegations.

 

Job Duties
  • Oversee all efforts to provide equal educational access for qualified students in degree-seeking programs with disabilities.
  • Coordinate disability services for BCM students and serves as a single point of contact within the College for students regarding disability needs (e.g., academic accommodations, auxiliary aids, and advocacy).
  • Train BCM community members on Title IX and disability related topics to increase awareness and compliance with College policies and corresponding laws.
  • Coordinate the development, implementation and monitoring of meaningful efforts to comply with Title IX and the ADA/504.
  • Provide education, programming, and training related to Title IX and disability issues.
  • Collaborate with individuals across the College to identify and address any systemic problems; works with the College administration to ensure that information is provided in a timely manner.
     
Minimum Qualifications
  • Required: Master’s degree.
  • Required: Seven years of relevant experience.  Degrees in lieu of experience will not be accepted.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Preferred: J.D. degree.
