The Assistant Director, Transfer Recruitment & Veterans Specialist is responsible for recruitment, outreach and territory management for transfer students. The position will also focus on developing plans for recruitment, outreach and service to prospective veteran students.

1. Recruitment and Outreach
Execute transfer and veteran student recruitment efforts to assigned
geographic territories, and community colleges. Represent the institution at college fairs, transfer fairs and transfer center visits with local and partner community colleges; communicate with prospective students, parents; advise and counsel transfer prospective students on the admissions and transfer of credit process; maintain continuous contact with prospective transfer students via mail, e-mail, phone, internet, social media, and face to face contact. Acts as point for the recruitment of veteran transfer students. Works with undergraduate and graduate admissions teams to provide support and guidance on serving veteran students. Develops and implements outreach, recruitment activities and strategies to attract veteran and transfer students to the College.

2. Territory ManagementManages assigned territory of community college partners. Develops plans and implements tactics to meet assigned application and enrolled student goals. Partners with the facilitation of programming in the transfer process for prospective students and their families. Develops relationships with faculty, transfer advisory staff, and others at assigned partner community colleges, and works to align these positions with counterparts at Saint Marv's.
3. Application Management
Conduct college level transcript evaluation for prospective transfer students and families. Acts as point of contact for the recruitment of veterans for transfer students. Works with undergraduate and graduate admissions teams to provide support and guidance on servicing veteran students. Advises veterans of education benefits. Remains current regarding state, federal, and University regulations and policies related to veteran's benefits and federal compliance.

4. Other Duties as Assigned
Assists Associate Dean of Admissions Transfer and Graduate and Professional Program Admissions in administrative processes i.e. process invoices, initiate purchase acquisitions, issue vendor contracts etc.

Experience and Qualifications




2 years of experience is required.
Some experience working with Veteran student populations is desired but not required.


Strong computer skills are required. Slate CRM experience is preferred but not required. Strong customer service. Excellent verbal and written skills; strong writing skills to prepare clear and concise correspondence and documentation for drip communication campaigns, and process manuals. A team player.
