Job Description
The College of Arts and Sciences Advising and Career Services office seeks to fill the role of Office Coordinator III. Reporting to the Director of Advising, the Office Coordinator is responsible for supporting student records management and career services projects, as well as other critical functions of the Advising and Career Services team, serving Arts and Sciences and Maxwell students. This role requires collaboration with the advising and career services teams, faculty, and departments to provide outstanding service to our students. Qualifications
• High School Diploma with a minimum of three (3) years’ experience.
• Associate’s degree or equivalent preferred plus a minimum of two (2) years office experience preferably in an academic environment.

Job Specific Qualifications
• Solid understanding of Microsoft Office and Adobe Professional suite, with the ability to create and revise documents.
• Good oral and written communication skills.
• Solid interpersonal skills.
• Good organizational skills, and the ability to multi-task in a fast-pace professional environment.
• Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality with sensitive information.
• Knowledge of PeopleSoft or related system is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities
• Perform administrative and clerical duties that require limited independent judgment yet some level of confidentiality. Includes assisting in the preparation and editing of all correspondence, reports, inquiries, mailings, ordering of supplies, etc. Interprets policies and procedures. Perform office duties and coordinate the office routine. Manage and coordinate calendars and schedules and appointments.
• Respond to general department inquiries. Forward complex inquiries to department representatives.
• Process and keep track of expenses associated with the operation of the office.
• May hire, train, and supervise student employees.
